ETC setup warnings Install the OBE in the correct position! Normal position for installation As written on the operation manual, OBE must be installed in the correct position. Otherwise, it may not work properly at the toll booths. Please get the OBE installed at your local ETC shop.
Has the ETC setup been completed? ETC will not work if it is not properly setup. Please contact your local ETC shop and have it properly installed.
To set up your OBE in another vehicle If you change the licence plate of your vehicle, please setup your OBE again with new vehicle information. Some vehicles cannot use ETC because of technical problem.
Please note that certain types of vehicles have windshields that tend to shield the electric wave used in ETC system.
ETC card warnings Is your ETC card valid? If your ETC card has expired, the bar will not open at the toll booth. Check your ETC card’s expiry date again. ETC card's expiry date and the IC chip
Is it inserted in the correct direction? Please make sure that the card in inserted proper direction and proper side up.
Otherwise, it may not work properly at the toll booth. Please read the operation manual carefully.

Those actions may cause an error or damage the card.
